Every journey starts with small steps. AXA’s transformational journey was no different and they ended up conquering their own mountain.

Client brief
To develop an internal staff transformation strategy and rollout that would inspire staff to turn AXA into a top 20 performing company in Australia and New Zealand within three years.

Our approach needed to be human, inspiring, relevant and above all flexible
- it had to live for more than 3 years.

Our solution was to develop a program called K5 based upon a mountain climbing analogy. ‘K5′ was based on AXA’s key strategic goals that had to be reached by certain milestone dates. The analogy worked for all audiences from executive through to staff and allowed everyone to know exactly where the company was on the trek to the summit and where they were individually and as part of a team.

We worked across the content and communication design and then rolled the program out across events to managers and staff in Australia and New Zealand. We also designed and produced communication collateral used within the event and post event - video production, presentation, intranet and interactive learning environments.

Result
After four hard years of transformational change, AXA moved from being just a survivor to become a credible industry player. The next step was to continue the journey from player to leader. The journey continues…
