Client brief:
To ‘knock off the crowd’s socks’ for media audiences and real motoring fans, via a media launch campaign, marking Holden’s 60th Anniversary gift to its fans worldwide – the snarling 6.0 litre V8 sports luxury concept car, the Coupe 60.

ABT brand experience:
Using the concept of creating a movie trailer, ABT developed a concept that proved this was another of Holden’s visionary ‘dream cars’. ABT supplied the concept, filming, editing and production of a TVC using its own in-house facilities. Then, using camera techniques inspired by Keanu Reeves’ ‘The Matrix’ movie, staged a photoshoot and implemented all post-production additions and embellishments (including a hard rocking soundtrack) which portrayed the car in a stunning light. ABT screened the TVC on monster screens at the Motorshow, creating the most expressive media launch at the press day.

The result
The coupe launch blew audiences away, ensuring a huge amount of media coverage and global buzz. The car launch was featured on several Aus news TV channels and the YouTube launch video has generated around 1500 views so far, and has immediately led to production queries and features from international car publications.
